Nayab Ahmed is a London-based Calligraphy and Lettering Artist, Designer and Founder of Studio Nay. Her work is rooted in craftsmanship and human connection.

Championing the power of physical storytelling, Nayab creates beautiful commissions, engaging workshops and live experiential brand activations. Nayab’s playful and vibrant approach focuses predominantly on traditional craft, lettering and community engagement.

Having started Modern Calligraphy as a child and later Arabic, and since held many workshops around London teaching the art of hand lettering using dip pen and ink technique and Arabic, she believes sharing the art of Calligraphy and making it accessible is important.

Working across luxury, retail and brand activations and facilitating workshops, Nayab has created live experiences for the likes of Harrods, Azza Fahmy and Selfridges. Her work has been showcased internationally, including features in British Vogue and Sky Arts.

Her hands-on educational workshops have seen her collaborate with spaces such as UAL, Leighton House, The Southbank Centre and local councils, bringing people together through the art of Calligraphy.
